1. Local Data Storage
This website stores the inputs you enter in the calculators locally in your browser (localStorage) under the keys "steuora_inputs" (net-salary calculator), "steuora_raise_inputs" (raise calculator), and "steuora_reverse_inputs" (net-to-gross calculator). This data remains exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to servers. You can remove all of this stored data at any time via the "Clear my saved settings" link in the footer.
2. Hosting
This website is operated by Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street, Suite 700, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Vercel logs IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. More information: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
3. Web analytics with Umami
This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics service (Umami Software, Inc.), hosted in the EU region of Umami Cloud (cloud.umami.is). Umami sets no cookies and stores no personal data. Only aggregated usage information is collected (pages viewed, referrer, browser type, device type, country). IP addresses are not stored; visitors are counted via a daily-rotating, non-reversible hash, so individual visitors cannot be identified. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis of website usage to improve the service). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
4. Fonts
Fonts are self-hosted via next/font/google and served locally. No IP addresses are transmitted to Google servers.
5. Cookies
This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies. The Umami service used for audience measurement is cookieless (see the "Web analytics with Umami" section). Only one technically necessary cookie is set: "NEXT_LOCALE" stores your selected language so the site is displayed in the language you chose. This cookie contains no personal data, serves solely the functionality of the website, and is required for its operation; no consent is required for it.
6. Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–20)
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and data portability (Art. 20). You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (BfDI or the relevant state data protection authority).
